Well, that is our favorite question. We personally believe that during vacations it is a waste of time to watch TV (after all there is Wi-Fi where you can see the news, listen to music, etc). Once you realize how much time you are probably wasting in front of the TV all the year you will realize that is not something you want to do in the few weeks you have to truly relax and get away from all. When you are on vacation you could be using your time to do something better like going out for a walk or spending time with friends or family, explore the place, etc
